Including Wayfinders in your will or living trust is a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy and ensure your values continue to make an impact for generations to come.
A gift made through your estate – often called a bequest – allows you to support Wayfinders’ mission while planning thoughtfully for the future.
A bequest may be structured in several ways, including:
- A specific dollar amount
- A percentage of your estate
- The remainder of your estate after other provisions are fulfilled

Sample Bequest Language
To make it easy to get started, we offer suggested legal language you may share with your attorney. For an unrestricted gift, which allows Wayfinders to apply your generosity where it is most needed, you may use the following language in your will and/or trust:
“I give to R. Bruce Irons Camp Fund (DBA Wayfinders), a nonprofit corporation currently located at PO Box 220311, Charlotte, NC 28222, or its successor thereto, _________ [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted charitable use and purpose.”
If you wish to designate your gift for a specific purpose, we encourage you to contact us so we can assist in customizing language that aligns with your intentions and supports Wayfinders’ long-term sustainability.
Let Us Know About Your Planned Gift

There is no obligation to disclose the amount of your bequest, and if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will respect your privacy and keep your information strictly confidential.
